Head of Marketing – Hospitality & Retail

Location:  London

Remuneration: Up to £65,000 per annum + Private Medical Care + Corporate Benefits

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Position Overview

We are seeking a commercially astute Head of Marketing on behalf of a rapidly expanding hospitality and retail operator. Boasting a diverse portfolio of vibrant venues across London and the South East, the company requires a strategic leader to spearhead brand strategy, multi-channel marketing, and customer acquisition from their headquarters in Croydon.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Formulate and deliver the annual marketing strategy to support business growth and brand equity.
• Drive customer acquisition, venue footfall, and retention through targeted digital and offline campaigns.
• Lead the digital marketing ecosystem, optimizing social media, SEO, PPC, email marketing, and content creation.
• Utilize customer insights and market analytics to refine targeting and enhance marketing ROI.
• Manage public relations, corporate partnerships, event activations, and influencer strategies.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to the internal marketing team and external agency partners.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, and Commercial teams to ensure cross-departmental alignment.
• Maintain strict governance over the annual marketing budget and allocation.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 4–5 years in a senior marketing position within the hospitality, retail, or consumer-facing industries.
• Strong commercial acumen with a history of driving tangible revenue growth.
• Proficiency in managing multi-site or multi-brand portfolios.
• Excellent leadership capability with experience managing direct reports.
• Strong analytical skills paired with a creative approach to brand development.
