Sales Development Representative (SDR) – (EMEA & APAC) REMOTE
Location: United Kingdom | Remote with need to meet in person on average once per month
About the Role
Our client are growing the team again and are now seeking a proactive and motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the Sales team, focusing on the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) and APAC (Asia-Pacific) regions. This role is based in the UK and offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in expanding the market presence across diverse international territories.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (email, phone, social media) within the EMEA and APAC regions.
- Engage and nurture leads, understanding their business needs and positioning the company solutions effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Business Development, Customer Success and cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless handover of qualified prospects.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and interactions in the company CRM.
- Research and stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and regional market dynamics relevant to EMEA and APAC.
- Represent the company in a professional and culturally aware manner across different geographies.
Key Requirements
- Degree educated with knowledge of the higher education space.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar sales or business development role, preferably within the education or SaaS sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a persuasive and confident phone manner.
- Knowledgeable of sales methodologies with a focus on relationship building and gathering intelligence, not securing high volumes of unqualified meetings
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a remote or distributed team.
- Fluency in English is essential
- Competence with HubSpot, and standard sales tools (e.g. Gong, LinkedIn, AI tools etc.).
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working to KPIs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
Desirable Attributes
- Recent student experience at university gaining degree level/degree level + education
- Experience working with clients or prospects in multicultural and multilingual environments.
- Understanding of education and public sector sales cycles and enterprise customer needs.
- Adaptability and willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate time zones across EMEA and APAC.
- Proficiency in a second language relevant to EMEA or APAC markets (e.g., Dutch, German, Spanish, etc.) is desirable.
